To determine the mechanical strength of the connector, accordance with IEC60320-1:2018 figure 9 and clause 23.3 &23.6.3, a lateral pull force is applled in steps of 900±50 as shown in IEC 60320 figure 8a),b),C),d) and e) parallel with the plane containing the axes of the current-carrying pins/contacts and parallel with the engagement face of the connector/plug connector.
A pull force according to IEC 60320 Table 11,is applied 50 times in each direction to the cord for 1S±0,5S
Standard Outfit:
1 mounting plated,
2 sets 4 digit counter to records the pulling times,
1 set of weights,6N-10N-50N-25N*2, for pull apply,
1 machine device with dimension 40 mm±2 mm.
1 A.C.geared motor with additional gear reduction to approx.60rpm,
Power Supply: A.C.220V 50Hz, other voltages and frequencies on request.
