1、 Applicable industries

This standard specifies the determination of the combustion performance of non-metallic materials in civil aircraft cabins and the airworthiness assessment of non-metallic materials in cabins.

2、 Applicable standards

According to FAA FAR.25.853 US Aviation Management Regulations - Transportation Aircraft - Cabin Internal Implementation Standards and Reference CCAR-25 § 25.853 Chinese Civil Aviation Regulations Part 25 "Airworthiness Standards for Transportation Aircraft" § 25.853 Standard.

3、 Test type

Horizontal test, vertical test, 45 degree inclined combustion test, 60 degree inclined combustion test.

This instrument mainly consists of a control box and a combustion box

1. Combustor: Made of stainless steel.

2. Combustion system: Burner: The inner diameter of the nozzle is 9.5 ± 0.5mm, equipped with a needle valve to facilitate the adjustment of gas flow rate and flame height. The flame height is easy to adjust, and can be adjusted from 20mm to 100mm according to standard requirements. It is equipped with a flame height gauge (38mm/22mm) and a * * * pressure adjustment system. And it is equipped with an electronic igniter, which can automatically ignite.

3. Timing system: 3 timers, including flame application timers, combustion timers, and flame extension timers.

Timer setting: 0~99.99/S/M/H can be set freely.

4. Test fixture: made of U-shaped corrosion-resistant metal plate, equipped with a dust box.

5. Observation window: The front of the combustion chamber is made of heat-resistant tempered glass, which facilitates the observation of combustion changes during combustion.
